Just learned that I have been selected as one of the finalists in the Glimmer Train August 2013 Short Story Award for New Writers for “The Microclimate of Trees.” This is the second time that I have been honored by this fine literary journal; the first time was in 2008 for “Making Soup.”
Glimmer Train–that’s the ticket to superstardom! Congratulations!
